Playing and Practice Facilities

CB's are blessed to now have 3 top quality ovals (Cardiff No.1, Cardiff No.2 & the Pasterfield Complex at Cameron Park), with excellent training facilities (located at Cardiff No.2) & soon at our Cameron Park base.

Cardiff No.1 is at the corner of Myall and Macquarie Roads with access via Russell Street. This has been the home of CB's since our move from Walters Park, which the club is still fortunate to have access to. No.1 has been the scene of many triumphs over the years, as well as many enjoyable evenings. In 1992-93 the ground was selected to host matches for the Australian Country Cricket Championships.

Cardiff No.2 is directly behind the Cardiff Bowling Club and is accessed via Queens Avenue. The club is extremely fortunate to have Ian Hancock as our curator extraordinaire for both No.2 and our practice facilities. The decks produced are always of an exceptionally high standard and are the envy of many District clubs.

Our practice wickets consist of 6 turf and two synthetic pitches. The square is always in immaculate condition thanks to Ian's tireless efforts. Training is every Tuesday and Thursday and commences at 4.30pm.
