OUR
STORY

Baggy Blues 2022.jpg
A brief history into Cardiff Boolaroo District Cricket Club

The club originally known as Western Lakes, made its debut in the 1949/50 season based in Speers Point. Shortly after, changing its name to Boolaroo Cardiff then ultimately Cardiff Boolaroo when making the transition to Cardiff Ovals.

In 2019/20, the club was offered the opportunity of utilising the brand-new first-class facilities at Pasterfield Sports Complex, now hosting our first and second grade teams with lower grade teams continuing to play at Cardiff Ovals 1 & 2.

The club has produced numerous representative players at both a junior and senior level throughout the course of its proud history. This continues to be a key focus for our current committee - We pride ourselves on providing playing opportunities, from our family based social development league through to grade cricket that paves the way for representative and first class cricket, a pathway that all members can be proud of.
